No studs or fittings are visible on BL-17A, a plain square of glass with straight edges, so the whole face is available for the design. It is photographed at an angle, and the sample print uses a halftone fade towards the edges that suits flowers, still-life images and soft portraits. The glossy surface gives colours a rich, deep look.
