About Sublimation Ceramic Tiles
The tiles come in three square sizes, 4×4, 6×6 and 8×8, and three rectangles, 6×8, 8×10 and 8×12. Square tiles suit coasters, small gifts and sets of matching photos, while the rectangles suit portraits, certificates, house name signs and memorial pieces. Several tiles can also be laid side by side to build a larger picture.
Ceramic tile is printed mirror image with moderate pressure. On a flat-bed heat press, allow 200 to 240 seconds at 180°C; in a 3D press, 6 minutes at 180°C. Because tiles are flat and rigid, a flat-bed press is the simpler option for most shops.
If you are new to sublimation, tiles are a straightforward first product to learn on. You will also need a sublimation printer, sublimation ink and paper.
