About PVC Heat Transfer Vinyl
PVC HTV is the everyday solid-colour vinyl for t-shirt and sportswear printing. It has an opaque, smooth finish and cuts and weeds easily, which makes it practical for school sports meets, cricket and football jerseys, staff uniforms and short runs of tees. Multicolour designs are built up one colour at a time, each cut and pressed as its own layer.
- Mirror the artwork and cut it on a cutting plotter
- Weed away the excess with a hook or weeder
- Press with a heat press, then peel the carrier
Press settings and suitable fabrics vary, so confirm them with Print Right before a production run. For full-colour artwork or photos, a DTF transfer printed to order is often quicker than layering many colours.
